X (Twitter) Integration — Privacy Policy
aiKMind (a product of Lazyboi LLC)
Last updated: April 13, 2026
This privacy policy describes how aiKMind collects, uses, and protects data when you connect your X (Twitter) account through the aiKMind platform using the X API v2. This policy applies specifically to the X integration feature and supplements the aiKMind General Privacy Policy.
1. X Data We Access
When you connect your X account, we may access the following data through the X API v2:
- Profile information — username, display name, account ID, bio, follower/following counts, and profile image
- Posts — your tweets, replies, and quoted posts (text, media, timestamps, engagement metrics)
- Timelines — your home timeline and user timelines
- Engagement — the ability to like, retweet, reply, bookmark, and quote posts on your behalf
- Publishing — the ability to create posts (text, images, videos, polls) on your behalf
- Search — searching for posts and users on X
2. How We Use X Data
Your X data is used solely to:
- Publish posts (text, images, videos, polls) to your X account when you request it
- Display your timeline, posts, and engagement metrics within the aiKMind chat interface
- Search for posts and users at your direction
- Engage with content (like, retweet, reply, bookmark) on your behalf when you approve it
- Delete posts at your direction
- Temporarily stage media files for uploading via the X API
We never use your X data to train AI models, serve advertisements, or sell to third parties.
3. Data Storage & Security
- OAuth tokens are stored encrypted in isolated storage associated with your agent. Tokens are not exposed to other users or unrelated agents. We use industry-standard encryption (including AES-256 at rest) where supported, and TLS (HTTPS) for data in transit.
- Developer credentials (in BYO mode) are stored encrypted in private configuration for your agent and are not shared with other customers.
- Media files staged for uploading are processed transiently and are not permanently stored by aiKMind.
- X API responses (posts, profiles, search results) are displayed in your chat session and are not permanently stored beyond the chat history you control.
- All communication with X's API uses HTTPS encryption in transit.
4. Third-Party Services
The X integration interacts with:
- X (Twitter) API v2— to read and publish content on your X account. X's data practices are governed by the X Privacy Policy.
- AI model providers — your chat messages (including X-related requests) are processed by the AI model you select. See the aiKMind General Privacy Policy for details.
5. X Permissions Requested
When you authorize the integration via OAuth 2.0 (PKCE), the following X scopes are requested:
- tweet.read — read your posts and timeline
- tweet.write — create and delete posts
- users.read — read user profile information
- like.read / like.write — view and manage likes
- bookmark.read / bookmark.write — view and manage bookmarks
- follows.read / follows.write — view and manage follow relationships
- offline.access — maintain access with a refresh token
You can revoke these permissions at any time from your X Settings → Connected Apps.
6. Data Deletion & Disconnecting
You can disconnect your X account and delete all stored data at any time:
- /x disconnect— removes your OAuth tokens from your agent's isolated storage
- /x reset — removes all configuration, tokens, and stored credentials for that agent
- Revoke access from X Settings → Connected Apps to fully revoke the app's access to your account
You may also request complete data deletion by contacting privacy@aikmind.com.
7. Children's Privacy
This integration is not intended for users under 13. We do not knowingly collect X data from children.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted at this URL with an updated date.
